Welcome to my first Wiki message.
I would like to begin my Wiki space with a place to add successful ideas or websites you have found students enjoyed via technology lessons. I have been trying to add some sort of activator to engage students in some of the more difficult science topics for each of the chapters and lessons that I teach. I'm finding that the students are not only more engaged, have more interest in the topics, but have a better understanding of the difficult concepts and vocabulary. The 2 to 5 minute videos from PBS or Nova provide a deep discussion of the main topics. Students have expressed that they enjoy this way of learning, and I too have noticed an improvement in their assessments.
Please feel free to express a success story and provide the link and or lesson.
